Pink Mu is a dream that came to fruition via radical personal transformation, from being trapped in unfulfillment and fear to realizing intuitive alignment in purpose and passion.

Failing to find kimbap reminiscent of nibbling in my mom’s kitchen or strolling Seoul markets, I followed my calling and filled the gap myself. After all, Chicago, too, deserves deliciously fresh, accessible, and convenient Korean food–this is the promise of Pink Mu.

Kimbap is humble, essential Korean food and a true labor of love: a love for my people and ancestors, a love for the integrity of Korean cuisine, and a love for the communities that hold you and me. I hope you feel the love in each bite.
